How EsiDock works
1. VR100 Vehicle Restraint System (AFM)
EsiDock Vehicle Restraint System VR100Die VR100 is a hydraulically operated automated vehicle restraint system, electrically interfaced with loading dock management control. The universal automated vehicle restraint is specifically designed to prevent unwarranted vehicle movement away from the loading dock during the loading an unloading process.

With a focus on Health & Safety and ease of operation the Constant Contact system protects the perator and the produce.
Constructed from robust but simple components the Constant Contact solution is suitable for a the majority of truck types and has multiple application possibilities. To ensure compatibility with the users needs there are a variety of versions available.
EsiDock Constant Contact Seal has been designed for ease of fitment in both new build and retrofit applications. The main principles of design are to reduce both fitting costs and ongoing repair and maintenance costs for the end user.

3. Double Deck Trailer Lift
Double Deck Trailer LiftsWith the ever increasing cost of transport, the introduction of double deck trailers is providing significant savings. The need to service these trailers in an efficient manner inspired Esidock to develop this unique double deck trailer lift.
The free standing design allows this lift to be installed in both new and existing sites. A wide range of finishes allow the lift to merge seamlessly with any building.

4. ClearDock and Retractable Bumpers


The ClearDock system works by using retracting hydraulic buffers, allowing the doors to be opened into the facility and providing unrestricted access to the back of the vehicle.
The conventional bay requires the driver to get out of the vehicle to open the doors before backing right onto the loading bay. With the ClearDock system, the driver remains in the vehicle at all times and the doors are opened into the facility.

Retracting Hydraulic Buffers
ClearDock Solution – Technical DetailsEfficiency
ClearDock Solution is a fully automated system enabling the bumpers to retract by hydraulics rams providing efficiency for warehouse operators and for the truck driver. By enabling the opening of docked vehicle doors into the loading dock, ClearDock Solution vastly increases loading and unloading productivity reducing turnaround times.
The conventional loading bays, by their design, requires the driver to get out of his truck, unsecure the load and prepare it for the unloading, whilst also ensuring the building is ready to accept the load. When the process is repeated several times, it represents 10% of an 8-hours shift. This equates a loss of 24-man days per year.
Security
ClearDock Solution also provides a secure loading dock ensuring the truck can be docked into the loading bay and left there without opening truck or warehouse doors while the operator is preparing to attend the bay. Once the warehouse is ready, doors can be opened without exposing goods. This also guarantees controlled access to the vehicle ensuring the load is only accessed by authorised personnel within the facility.

5. AutoDock
AutoDockEsidock have designed and developed a retrofit solution to enable conventional bays be converted to accept the growing fleet of double deck trucks.
Upon the completion of all mechanical aspects of the install process, all components are connected to the controller and all wiring/hoses are fitted securely and safely within containment. The retractable bumpers are then inserted into place and the steel enclosure is fitted to both the steelwork and the retaining wall. This enclosure is cladded and made to be weatherproof, ensuring no ingress of moisture and thus environmentally secure. Upon the completion of all mechanical aspects of the install process, all
components are connected to the controller and all wiring/hoses are fitted securely and safely within containment.
Our system also makes use of our specialized leveller which is suitable for use with double decks as well as normal containerized vehicles:

7. 4-Sided Seal
For our new seal version, we project the inflatable seal back slightly towards the bottom seal, which fills any pockets that might result of the truck being on the bay. This seal unlike foam pads on standard bays can accommodate nearly the full range of containerized vehicles, including double decks This works alongside the external weatherproofing and our Emflex seals on the leveller to offer the best environmental seal possible. - Vehicle backs onto dock with buffers in raised position.
- Once vehicle is safely docked dock buffers retract.
- The environmental seal inflates around all 4 sides of the vehicle.
- Once inflated the dock door opens.
- The trailer doors are then opened into the building.
- The dock leveller is then deployed for loading/unloading, with the seal maintained at all times.
System reset
Once operation is completed, the leveller is parked and trailer doors closed Once the dock door is closed the shelter deflates, the buffers return to raised position and vehicle is released. Environmentally Secure Integrated Docks.
